All warranty, return, and refund requests for LF Audio products are handled through your customer portal:
The portal walks you through entering your order details, describing the issue, uploading any supporting photos or video, and receiving return shipping instructions. Using the portal is the fastest way to get your request reviewed; it routes directly to the team that can help.
If you have the AuralSync app installed, you can also file the same request from the in-app Support tab without opening a browser. See Support and Warranty in the App.
How to File a Request
From the customer portal
- Go to app.lf-audio.com and sign in.
- Enter your order information and a short description of the issue.
- Attach photos or a short video if the product is defective or arrived damaged.
- Submit the request. You will receive a confirmation and, if a return is approved, shipping instructions with a return address.
From the AuralSync app
- Open the AuralSync app.
- Tap the Support tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap New request, pick the Shopify order this is about (or choose 'My item isn't listed' for dealer, gift, or pre-Shopify purchases), select the affected line item(s), describe the issue, attach photos or video, and submit.
Both paths land at the same place. Use whichever is more convenient.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. To qualify for a return, items must be:
- In the same condition you received them
- Unworn, unused, and undamaged
- In their original packaging with any included accessories
Damaged-on-arrival items should be reported through the portal right away so the issue can be evaluated.
1-Year Limited Warranty
LF Audio hardware is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery.
What is covered
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
- Failures not caused by the end user
What is not covered
- Accidental damage, drops, or liquid exposure
- Modifications, disassembly, or repairs performed outside of LF Audio
- Damage caused by improper installation or use outside of product specifications
- Normal wear and tear

Wear Items on the WVC Knob
The wireless knob used with the WVC, WVC-PRO, and WVC-LITE contains two parts that naturally wear with everyday use: the rechargeable battery and the rotary encoder you turn to set volume. While your knob is within the 1-year warranty, these parts are covered like the rest of your hardware.
The encoder is rated for a minimum of 100,000 turns. In practice that can mean well over a decade of use in a typical system, or as little as a few years under heavy daily use. In an extreme, high-SPL build where the knob is exposed to constant heavy vibration, it can be shorter still. The rechargeable battery, like any cell, gradually holds less charge as it ages, and sustained extreme heat or cold accelerates that wear (see battery care in the Knob Guide for how to protect it in harsh climates). Both are normal, expected wear rather than defects.
When one of these parts eventually wears out after your warranty has ended, you don't need to buy a whole new knob. Instead of replacing it, LF Audio can refresh the knob you already own: a new battery and encoder are fitted to your existing knob, which is then tested and returned to you. It's an affordable service that covers both the parts and the labor, keeping your controller working for years longer while cutting down on cost and waste. It applies to every knob variant, whether you have a Single, Dual, Concentric, or Quad knob.

EU Consumer Rights
Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days of delivery for any reason and without providing a justification. Items must remain unused with original tags and packaging, along with proof of purchase. File the request at app.lf-audio.com.
Non-Returnable Items
Some items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalized products (special orders)
- Items marked non-returnable on their product listing
- Gift cards
If you are not sure whether your item is eligible, open a request in the customer portal and the support team will confirm.
After You File a Claim
- You will receive return shipping instructions from the portal, including the return address and any tracking details.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified whether the return or warranty claim is approved.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of inspection. Please allow additional time for your bank to post the refund.
- If a refund has not appeared after 15 business days, open the request again in the portal and the team will look into it.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original through the portal and place a new order for the replacement once the return is approved.
