The WTH (Wireless Temperature Hub) is a compact monitoring hub with a color touchscreen that watches multiple temperature points at once and shows them all on a single, easy-to-read display. It is built for keeping an eye on the parts of your system that get hot: amplifiers, heatsinks, battery terminals, motors, wiring, and anywhere else temperature matters.
The hub reads two kinds of temperature sensors. Non-contact infrared sensor pods measure the surface temperature of whatever they are aimed at, without touching it, and wired contact probes attach directly to a surface or component. The hub combines both on one screen, with each reading colored on a hot-to-cool scale and backed by a rolling history graph so you can see not just the current temperature but how it has been trending.
The WTH is part of the LF Audio ecosystem and pairs with the LF Audio AuralSync app over Bluetooth. You watch live temperatures on the hub's own touchscreen; the app is for setting the hub up, keeping its firmware up to date over the air, and registering it for warranty.
Key Features
- Color touchscreen display: a bright screen that shows every connected temperature channel at a glance
- Two sensor types: non-contact infrared sensor pods for surface temperature at a distance, plus wired contact probes for direct-attach measurement
- Up to eight temperature points: monitor up to four infrared sensor pods and up to four wired contact probes at the same time
- Color temperature scale: each reading is colored from cool (blue) through a neutral mid-range to warm (orange) and hot (red), so a problem stands out instantly
- Rolling history graphs: each infrared channel shows a live trend line with the recent low and high, so you can watch temperature climb or settle over time
- App connection: pairs with the LF Audio AuralSync app over Bluetooth for setup, firmware updates, and warranty registration
- Over-the-air firmware updates: keep the hub current wirelessly, with no cables or tools
- Wired DC power: runs from your vehicle's electrical system through a screw-terminal power input, with built-in protection against reverse polarity, over-current, and electrical transients
What It Monitors
The hub organizes its readings into channels. The base WTH supports up to eight temperature channels in total:
| Sensor Type | Channels | How It Measures |
|---|---|---|
| Infrared sensor pods | Up to 4 (IR 1 to IR 4) | Reads the surface temperature of whatever the pod is aimed at, without contact |
| Contact temperature probes | Up to 4 | Attaches directly to a surface or component for a contact reading |
Each channel updates continuously while its sensor is connected. A channel with no sensor plugged in simply stays blank, so the display only shows the points you are actually measuring.
Infrared vs Contact Sensing
The two sensor types suit different jobs, and you can mix and match them freely:
- Infrared sensor pods are ideal when you cannot, or would rather not, touch the surface: a spinning motor, a live terminal, a hard-to-reach heatsink, or any spot where a wired probe is impractical. Aim the pod at the target and it reads that surface's temperature from a short distance.
- Contact probes are ideal for direct, pinpoint readings on a fixed surface: a bolt-on amplifier heatsink, a battery terminal, or a wire lug. The probe touches the component and reports its temperature.

What's in the Box
- The WTH hub with its color touchscreen
- Mounting hardware
- Power wiring for the screw-terminal DC input
Temperature sensors are what the hub reads. Depending on how you purchase, infrared sensor pods and contact temperature probes may be included or added separately. For the exact contents of your package, see the WTH product page.
Requirements
- A wired DC power source (12 V vehicle electrical system or another supply within the hub's input range). The hub has no battery, so it needs power whenever you want it running.
- At least one sensor: an infrared sensor pod or a contact temperature probe
- A phone with the LF Audio AuralSync app for pairing and configuration
- A 2.4 GHz WiFi network with internet access, for firmware updates only
Where to Go Next
- Installation Guide: mount the hub, connect your sensors, and wire power
- First Boot and Pairing: power on and connect the app
- Display and Navigation: read the screen and understand the color scale
- Menus and Settings: configure the hub
- Firmware Updates: keep the hub current
