Overview
AuralSync Inside is an OEM integration program that allows amplifier manufacturers to build LF Audio WVC technology directly into the hardware of their amplifiers. Rather than installing a WVC base unit externally in your vehicle, all of the WVC circuitry — wireless volume control, voltmeter, high-precision power meter, and the LF Audio wireless antenna — is embedded inside the amplifier itself.
Ruthless Audio was the first manufacturer to prototype this technology, demonstrated on their 10,000-watt amplifier.
What's Included in an AuralSync Inside Amplifier
An amplifier with AuralSync Inside technology integrates the following LF Audio features onboard:

Compatibility with Existing LF Audio Equipment
An AuralSync Inside amplifier is fully compatible with the broader LF Audio ecosystem. Because it uses the same wireless mesh and AuralSync platform as standalone WVC units:
- The same WVC knob works with both. A single knob can control an AuralSync Inside amplifier alongside other WVC base units in your system.
- The AuralSync phone app connects to the amplifier just as it would to a standalone WVC — providing volume control, live telemetry, data recording, and home screen widgets.
- The Bass Watch accessory can be used to control the amplifier wirelessly.
- The Wireless Temperature Hub integrates with the amplifier, allowing voice coil or alternator temperature monitoring. If a connected temperature sensor exceeds a configured threshold, the Intelligent Drive System (IDS) can automatically limit volume or shut down the amplifier to prevent damage.
- The Wireless Data Display (when released) will be able to show amplifier data — voltage, output power, wattage — alongside data from other LF Audio sensors, all on a single touchscreen widget display.
The core principle of AuralSync Inside is that all LF Audio knobs, screens, and apps connect with all LF Audio products. Adding more LF Audio devices to your system increases the number of sensors and automation options available across the entire ecosystem.
Wired Bass Knob Compatibility
AuralSync Inside amplifiers retain compatibility with a traditional wired bass knob. If you prefer a wired connection, or if you want to use the wired knob as a backup, it remains fully functional alongside the wireless system.
Displayed Data and Graphs
When connected via the WVC knob or AuralSync app, an AuralSync Inside amplifier provides the following real-time data:
- Output wattage
- Supply voltage
- Amperage draw
- Load impedance
- Voltage history graph
- Impedance / reactive load graph
- Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) equalizer view
- Clipping notifications
- Protect state notifications
Intelligent Drive System (IDS) Integration
AuralSync Inside amplifiers support the full Intelligent Drive System (IDS). This means you can configure automatic volume limiting or amplifier shutdown based on:
- Voltage drop — If supply voltage falls below your configured minimum, IDS can reduce or cut volume before the amplifier is damaged.
- Temperature — If a connected wireless temperature sensor (monitoring voice coils, the alternator, or other components) exceeds your threshold, IDS can limit or shut down the amplifier automatically.
